DESCRIPTION:👾 Play\, learn & connect at Game Night!\n​Join IxDF & IAA to explore Edmonton indie games\, meet creators & get a chance to help playtest their newest projects 🤩 \n​As part of their 2026 UX in Play event series\, Interaction Design Foundation (IxDF) Edmonton & Interactive Arts Alberta (IAA) are hosting a drop-in Game Night featuring locally-made games designed and developed by Edmonton’s Indie Design Community.  \nMeet creators from up-and-coming local studios\, learn about their game philosophy\, and sit down to play! \nThis is a family-friendly event with light snacks provided. \n​ \n​​🔍 Seeking playtesters…\n​Learn about User Experience (UX) research firsthand by participating in the testing process\, and help support better game UX for indie studios! \nWhen you register for Game Night\, check the box to sign up and join the list of potential playtesters. ✅\nIxDF will follow up and match you with testing opportunities. \nDuring this event (May 15)\, they will be running a first playtest with Cozy Comet Games in the office next door!\nIf you’re a good fit with the game’s target audience\, they will invite you to claim one of their limited time slots for a test session.\nTo thank playtesters for participating\, they will also hook you up with a treat from their downstairs neighbours at White Rabbit Ice Cream🍨💕 \nLet’s bring great UX to great games—together!
