DESCRIPTION:Thinking of heading to KDays? Come join a live game playtest!\n🎡🌭🍩🍦🎢🍧🕶️🎸🐖🐰🐴🐐🎮🎯🎲 \nIxDF Edmonton is teaming up with Never Played Games and Interactive Arts Alberta to host a live playtest of a new tabletop game called Kitchen Kingdom. \nJoin IxDF at the Interactive Arts Alberta booth in Hall E of the EXPO Centre on the last Saturday of the Game Discovery Exhibition (GDX) at KDays! Day passes to get you into the fair will be emailed to you a few days before July 25th.  \nSign up for one of three 90-minute time slots to help test the game in a group of 6 people\, then participate in a short focus group-style feedback interview.\nIf they run out of spots\, they will open up another option to RSVP as a “spectator”. You may be asked to serve as backup if any pre-booked testers can’t make it. \n​As a thank-you\, everyone who participates as a tester will be entered in a draw for a variety of prizes. Every ticket wins you something fun! ✨

DESCRIPTION:Join IxDF Edmonton in person to help test some new indie game demos\, and we’ll buy you a drink! ✨ \nLearn about User Experience (UX) research firsthand by participating and/or observing the testing process. \nAs part of our UX in Play series\, IxDF Edmonton is organizing a UX Feedback Clinic in partnership with local indie game developers\, Interactive Arts Alberta (IAA) and Labo Coffee\, supported by Edmonton Screen.  \n​We’re looking for playtesters to help with some guerilla-style game UX research: \n\n\n​On Friday September 26 from 5pm to 7pm\, we’ll be at Labo Coffee on Whyte Ave. recruiting two testers every 15 minutes (16 testers max.) \n\n\n​Play through a short interactive game prototype and share your feedback to help guide important design decisions and shape better games! \n\n\n​As a thank-you\, testers will get a free drink at Labo ☕🍵♥️ \n\n\n​You’re also welcome to simply hang out at the cafe\, observe the testing process and chat with other people who share an interest in UX. \n​Let’s bring great UX to great games—together!
