UX CAMP 2015 – CALL FOR SUBMISSIONS
This November 28th we will be continuing our enduring legacy (well, that one other time we did it) of presenting exciting and innovative user experience topics for a fraction of what you pay in the stores.
We’re going to shake things up this year. We want to leverage as much community talent as we can and that’s why our eyes fall to you, the expert. If you have the chops we want you to speak at this year’s camp. We have a variety of different spots to fill:
• Speakers – Speakers are the backbone of any camp. If you can speak for 45 minutes on a user experience topic then you are exactly what we’re looking for. Speakers should be prepared to give a subject that they are passionate about and that the community will engage with.
• Workshops – Some people prefer showing to telling. If you have an idea for a hands-on activity or concept that you would be willing to share with some very interested participants then we are looking for you. We will need workshop submissions that can keep people engaged for a 2 hour slot.
• Panels – We won’t make you do all the legwork – we will be coming up with a panel topic, but we will need to fill this panel with interesting and informed people. If you want to be part of a panel put yourself into consideration along with a list of some of your areas of expertise. Alternately if you have an idea what topic you’d want to run a panel on and can think of your own guests then by all means submit that as well!
If you’re looking for inspiration, maybe you’re an expert on:
• User Experience
• Usability
• Visual Design
• Testing
• Managing a user experience project
• Case studies
• Prototyping
• Analytics
• Social Media
• Strategy
• Other matters of import
If you fit any or all of the criteria above then would it kill you to fill out this very simple form that we have prepared?
We will be compiling our schedule over the next month, but if you fit what we’re looking for we will let you know ASAP.
Thanks!
