UX Camp 2019 will be November 15-16
Almost all of our world is now mediated by digital technology. This reality combined with huge advances in artificial intelligence and augmented reality is making the role of the user experience designer more important than ever.
Are you passionate about solving the right problems at the intersection between design, business and culture?
Do you want to share an insight from a recent project or perhaps a deep dive you’ve done on a new subject?
We are seeking submissions of 30 – 60 min talks or minimum 2-hour workshops from speakers who are leading, strengthening and revitalizing user experience. The workshop day will be held on November 15th, with the conference following on November 16th.
We are also looking for candidates who are willing to take part in multiple 12 min Show-and-tell sessions. If you have a product that you like to showcase, please include a title, and description for the significance of the product and why should it be showcased a UX show-and-tell session.
Guidelines for the submissions:
These are must-haves for your proposals and reviewers will use these as primary criteria to conduct the reviews.
Provide insights that someone can’t google online. It can be an expansion of existing idea, but your self-reflection should be evident.
Your topic is geared to a specific audience group, and your proposal needs to show how you will engage that audience group.
Your proposal provides a high-level overview of what you are trying tocommunicate but has crucial specific take away items that someone can utilize the next day
You have real working examples of your ideas, or your talk is associated with a case study.
The evidence is showing the impact or the success the idea has made.
How to submit your proposal?
Please submit your proposal by midnight Monday, September 23rd to email@example.com.
Selected speakers will be contacted in September to confirm for their availability. All speakers will receive free registration to the event.
Feel free to reach out to UX Edmonton firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions you may have.
